Houston daycare center fire kills 1, injures 6 (AP)
HOUSTON – Fire Department officials say a brightness at a metropolis childcare edifice has killed digit children and scraped five others.
Houston Assistant Fire Chief Bill Barry says the brightness happened weekday salutation at a home in westerly metropolis that was existence separate as a childcare center.
Units arriving at the scene found digit children who had been scraped right the home and five more unfree inside. Firefighters saved those exclusive and took every heptad children to four metropolis hospitals. They ranged in age from 18 months to 3 eld old.
Barry says digit of the children died after existence taken to a hospital. No other information was acquirable on the children who died or the conditions of those injured.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze.
