Ford recalls 144,000 F-150 trucks for airbag risk (Reuters)

DETROIT (Reuters) – author Motor Co said it would request most 144,000 F-150 models in the United States and Canada from the 2005 and 2006 help eld for the risk that airbags could deploy because of a short circuit.

The maker said that a nonachievement in the gathering of the trucks at its Norfolk, Virginia, plant could drive an airbag wire in the control rotate to short circuit.

Ford said that it had conventional an unspecified sort of complaints most the airbag problem. In most cases, it said, airbags had deployed just a few seconds after the trucks were started.
