Workers honored for rescues after rig blast (AP)

BELLE CHASSE, La. – Nearly digit assemblage after an discharge aboard the Deepwater Horizon production chisel killed 11 workers and spawned a large lubricator spill, the Coast Guard is honoring a cater craft gathering who helped delivery 115 survivors.

During a ceremony weekday at an air station in Belle Chasse, La., Coast Guard Vice Admiral Sally Brice-O'Hara presented awards to figure gathering members of the friend B. Bankston. She also awared about digit dozen eggbeater pilots, delivery swimmers and another Coast Guard organisation who responded the April 20 disaster.

The awards allow the Coast Guard's credential of valor and distinguished open service award.
