LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Kentucky legislator who is also a broad edifice pedagogue was critically injured weekday trying to break up a fight between digit students.

State Rep. Dewayne Bunch, 49, was punched in the nous and lapse to the cafeteria floor, touch his nous on the tile, Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell said.

County schools held a moment of silence for Bunch.

The House adjourned March 24. It wasn't directly country whether Bunch was teaching while he was serving in the House.

Kentucky House Speaker Greg Stumbo titled it a depressing day.
