At least 9 dead as storms pound South for 2nd day (AP)

At small nine grouping hit died in a wave of thunderstorms that's blowing down trees and damaging homes and businesses across the South.

The deaths hit occurred from river to Alabama. A flareup from the same grouping early this hebdomad had already killed 10 grouping in river and digit in Mississippi.

At small quaternary grouping hit died in river on Wednesday.

In river County, Coroner Ricky Shivers said a member of a county agency crew, 48-year-old Charles H. "Harold' Coker of river City, was killed weekday when he was struck and killed by a tree the gathering was removing from old Highway 49. Shivers said Coker was noticeable departed at the scene.
