SAN FRANCISCO – Federal prosecutors are hunt thousands of pages of documents from Calif. regulators as they enquiry a noxious gas scuttlebutt discharge in a San Francisco suburb, The Associated Press has learned.

Prosecutors hit requested voluminous records — including Pacific Gas & Electric Co.'s maps, reports and crisis plans — in a wide-ranging examination of the September blast that killed octad and blasted mountain of homes, according to letters the AP obtained finished a public records behave letter to the Calif.
