NASA: No Monday launch for space shuttle Endeavour (AP)

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Space shuttle Endeavour's start is off until belike the modify of the week.

On Sunday, NASA officials said there was no way Endeavour could wind off weekday on its test voyage. A newborn start fellow was not set. But officials said it appeared that the impact necessary to repair a faulty bullet grouping in the shuttle would near the start to the modify of the week, at best.

Endeavour's commander, Mark Kelly, is mated to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. She arrived at Kennedy Space Center terminal hebdomad in hopes of seeing her economise herb into orbit. But Friday's start endeavor was titled off because of the bullet trouble.

A NASA spokesman says technicians and engineers will change a switchbox in Endeavour's engine compartment. Two life of investigating are required, for the repair.
