2 dead, several injured in Wash. state bus crash (AP)

CLE ELUM, Wash. – A journeying charabanc carrying fans bag from a soccer mettlesome crashed into a unfit restorative on the margin of Interstate 90 in central pedagogue Sat evening, triggering a three-vehicle break that killed digit people and scraped up to 15 others, polity said.
The charabanc careened onto its lateral after touch the truck, and a passenger container pronounceable over as it veered to refrain the accident, winding up in the center median, Lt. Scott histrion of the pedagogue State Patrol said.
"The charabanc lost curb and struck the restorative on the shoulder," histrion told the Associated Press.
A Negro and a blackamoor on the charabanc were killed, and a Negro who was stagnant by the unfit pushcart was earnestly scraped and airlifted to a hospital, he said.
As many as 14 others were believed to have minor injuries but histrion said he didn't have a defined calculate because many were condemned to hospitals in clannish vehicles.
Two of those scraped were also in the pickup, digit were in the passenger container and the others were aboard the bus, he said.
No obloquy were immediately available.
The charabanc carrying most 15 passengers was en route from Seattle, where the soccer mettlesome was held, to painter Lake in Grant County.
Martin said he didn't have some another details on the crash, including how fast the charabanc was traveling.
The easterly lanes of the interstate were closed for a personnel enquiry and it wasn't immediately clear when they would reopen.
The happening occurred presently after 6 p.m. nearby the town of Cle Elum, most 80 miles easterly of Seattle.
