POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A member of the European Olympic move aggroup had to be saved after he used a bucket to take a super mess that collapsed and trapped him, authorities said.

It took 60 rescuers digit hours to liberated Jakub Maly, 19, who had spent a some hours Sun dig the mess that was 7 feet deep and 6 feet wide. It's not clear why he jumped in after he ended digging. Rescue officials asked a teammate to lean over the mess and talk to Maly during the rescue, according to fire delivery officials.

"He looked more in shock when he came out," said Pompano Beach Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sandra King. "He was apparently traumatized."

Maly was in danger of existence crushed by the pressure from the sand. The move aggroup first dug out Maly's nous so he could breathe, and delivery officials gave him an gas mask as presently as they arrived. Large boards were placed along the outside of the mess to ready more sand from falling in on him, King said.

Maly was condemned to North Broward Hospital and released primeval Monday. He and his aggroup were scheduled to yield South Florida by primeval Monday afternoon, King said. It wasn't immediately known what injuries Maly uninterrupted or if he dug the mess alone.

King said the European Olympic aggroup had been training in South Florida since April. Sun was an soured period for aggroup members.
